The story begins with the adoption of twin boys, the death of a beloved cat and finding the love of Levin family's life in the form of an abused dog. Those side stories will come together to create good context. And for those of you thinking "Oh she hates dogs, shame on her, blah blah". (-: While this is a really heartwarming and valuable story, the narrator didn't make me feel fully connected to/engaged in it.
